Responsibilities

You’ll work with a small, talented team of developers and designers, including access to an Elixir Core team member, dedicated to building top-tier products for users worldwide.

In this role, you will:

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of IRIS’s co-operating platform.

• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution, collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers.

• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API-based environments.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.

• Ensure the platform’s scalability, resilience, and security through rigorous testing strategies.

• Monitor and analyze testing results to identify patterns and areas for improvement.

• Support release processes, ensuring high-quality deployment of features and updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web and mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe).

• Familiarity with testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.

• Experience with performance, scalability, and security testing.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Proficiency in English, as IRIS operates globally.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Familiarity with Elixir-based applications or experience testing distributed systems.

• Knowledge of Terraform or infrastructure automation tools.
